  • Summary: Then on to Guernsey, Wy, to view the best Oregon Trail covered wagon ruts I’ve seen. Nearby is Register Cliff Historic Site where travelers engraved their messages into a sandstone cliff for later travelers or to record their presence.

  • Summary: In Ely, I was told to look for a "unique" sight on US 50. I was not told what it was but would recognize it the minute I laid eyes on it. I found this cottonwood tree with shoes tied to it. It is located east of Fallon, NV, and is unique.
